As an Artist, whether you're using Oil, Watercolors, pastels, even Markers or Colored Pencils, it's all about COLOR.

Color Sets the mood, references emotion, illustrates depth and describes objects and does much more.  The keys to understanding color and how to use it, isn't difficult to learn, but it does take some practice and A LOT of exploration.

This Online Class, will take you through the origin of Color, the Color Wheel, Color Theory, Complimentary, Secondary and Tertiary Colors and Color Schemes and putting them to practice.  You will also learn the differences between Warm and Cool Colors, Color Hues, Tints, Values and last but not least, Color Mixing!

You will create your own Color Fan Deck and Color Cards to use for your painting when you need a great color choice.

Through this wonderful use of Technology, this class will be presented to you Online with downloadable links so that you may learn at your own convenience.  Each Class will contain handouts for each class that will be sent as a link for your use.  Alas!  There will be painting exercises  to do for each class so you need to be an ACTIVE participant to learn, even though this is through Online Video!  I want you to be learning COLOR "First Hand"!

This class is open to Watercolor, Acrylic, Gouache or Oil.  Whatever you medium is, this class is perfect for expanding your knowledge of Color.
