On the Fourth of July

Watercolor

18 x 24

300 lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper

I have wanted to paint this for a very long time.  I actually started it over a year and a half ago, but due to circumstances, It was always a "Start" and "stop".  I didn't want to give up on it, so I kept it safe so when I could go back to it, I would.  I am so very pleased that it is finally finished, it makes me so happy.  Love this little guy, and I can't wait to paint another portrait soon!
